16.07.2014

The UK Intellectual Office (UK IPO) is seeking views on the drafting, structure and effect of the draft legislation which will allow for the implementation of the Unified Patent Court Agreement and the associated EU Regulations which introduce the Unitary Patent.

Lee Davies will chair the meeting and will be joined by Alan Johnson – CIPA, Tony Howard – UK IPO and Tim Frain – IP Federation. The session will provide an introduction to the consultation and provide an overview of the UK IPO’s approach to the legislation, as well as a view from both the industry and private practice perspectives. These short sessions will highlight some of the larger issues and the webcase shall end with a lengthy Q&A session.
