The Unified Patent Court (UPC) has announced that it will provide a dedicated CMS platform to allow external users to practice Entry Into Force (EIF) functionalities. This will be available on 29 May (i.e. before the Court opens on 1 June) for an unlimited duration. The environment will be the same as the sunrise practice CERUS environment: https://cerus.unified-patent-court.org/login, on which all sunrise functionalities will remain available and the EIF functionalities will be activated. Users already registered in CERUS do not need to create a new user account to practice the CMS EIF functionalities. For other users, this guide provides information on how to create an account. Users should not provide real data or real documents, and documents must be digitally signed and of type PDF/A.
