The Unified Patent Court (UPC) IT Team announced today a new release of the Case Management System (CMS) beta test site.  The updates are mainly of a fine-tuning/tidying-up nature.  For example, there have been minor changes in the opt-out application process (in particular in relation to the mandate and declaration required in certain cases set out in Rule 5 of the latest version of the UPC Rules of Procedure – reported here), and optimisation of the procedures for patent selection and fees management.  There are also new releases of application program interfaces (APIs) for public testing.
