The Unified Patent Court (UPC) IT team has announced here that from August 2017 until the opening of the Court, users will have access to a stable version of the UPC Case Management System.  At that time, the development cycle will move from the continuous interactive approach, including user acceptance testing, to a more traditional development approach.  The majority of work to date has had an emphasis on opt-out functionalities, in preparation for the start of the sunrise period (forecast for early 2018).  Further work on the CMS will include the integration of the security and authentication mechanisms.
