After yesterday’s report France’s local UPC division offers English as a language option, the Unified Patent Court (UPC)’s webpage Language of Proceedings was updated to show that the four local divisions in Germany (in Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Mannheim and Munich) are also offering English as an option. The UPC has today published Update on languages of proceedings noting the updates to the webpage for both France and Germany. The entry for the local division in Milan still shows only Italian and this is now the only local division not offering English as an option, although it is possible this too may change. The UPC states “Any further updates will be communicated in due time.”
