As reported here, a motion requesting the Constitutional Court of Hungary’s opinion on the compatibility of the Unified Patent Court Agreement with the Hungarian Constitution, and on the appropriate mechanism that must be used for the Agreement’s ratification, was filed by the Minister of Justice (on behalf of the government) on 18 July 2017. The motion was one of the items on the agenda of the plenary (full) session of the Court to be held last week (7 May 2018), but the Court has not yet published any further information.
